Moose On Road Puts Quick Finish On Trip
Four air force navigators pursuing North Pole flights collided with a 1000 pound moose thirty miles north of Fairbanks Alaska. The crash damaged the car scratched the four officers and left the moose with a broken leg. The navigators led by Lieut Richard T McFalls have logged many North Pole flights. Air force police shot the moose dressed the meat and sent it to Fort Yukon natives.
