In Montreal a 21 year old Canadian, Larry Maxwell Stanford of Saint John New Brunswick, surrendered to his father and a Montreal psychiatrist after commandeering a Quebecair BAC111. He released 57 passengers unharmed during a looping flight from Wabash Indiana to Montreal Ottawa and back. Stewardess Josette Cote persuaded him to return and surrender.
