Water outage splits Sussex families as pump fails
In Sussex Wisconsin residents on the Northwest Side rely on neighbors and a bow ling alley well after a pump motor failure halts their water supply. Families melt snow and shuttle to nearby towns for basic needs. Officials blame an aging 12 year old motor and no backup system, noting costs prevented prior backup plans. Community frustration grows as residents seek restored service tonight.
