4 H Leaders Dine at La Crosse Chamber Event
Forty seven adults who head La Crosse county 4 H clubs were entertained by the Chamber of Commerce at an annual dinner. Walter Ofstedahl, rural affairs chairman, praised the merchants for supporting 4 H work. Walton Ofstedahl, president of the leaders group, expressed thanks for the party and cooperation. Gifts from La Crosse merchants were handed to guests and an exchange of gifts occurred. Jim Callahan, local card magician, performed briefly and the evening closed with leaders attending a showing at the Hollywood theater.

Police said she told officers she left Rockford on November 3 because she hated the place and had traveled to California before returning east arriving in Kansas City November 29.
