Wisconsin polio drive aims beyond one million dollars
Rex Fuller of Osseo told a district March of Dimes meeting in Eau Claire that Wisconsin must top one million dollars to support polio fight efforts. The state raised 745000 last January, far below the national average, amid a record epidemic. Eight northern counties were represented and Norman E. Weaver noted national demand and funding strains as epidemic aid to Wisconsin tops 350000 this year.
