Kenneth C. Blanchard aged 46 of 2922 Farnam Street is named publisher of The La Crosse Tribune effective Friday. Sanders Hook, 34, of 1040 Birchview Road, is appointed general manager. Burgess moves to vice president of all Lee newspaper divisions and a director role in Davenport Iowa. Blanchard has a long La Crosse Tribune tenure including executive editor in 1971.

James Brough 35 administrative assistant at Indianapolis Airport Authority has been named manager of La Crosse Municipal Airport subject to council approval. The Aviation Board chose him after interviewing about eight candidates to replace James Cote who resigned in June amid protest over a planned 869 foot television tower near La Crescent.
