Milwaukee CORE sit-in leader arrested during courthouse protest
Milwaukee protesters led by CORE occupied a county courthouse room near County Board Chairman Eugene Grobschmidt and demanded the resignation of Fred Lins from the Community Social Development Commission. Willis Baker was arrested after refusing to move from a doorway and bond was set at 100 dollars. County officials increased security to prevent repeats and limited access to the second floor office area.
