Butz rules out export curbs on grain and cotton
Secretary Earl L. Butz said the United States will not impose export controls on feed grains unless the corn crop drops to 5.5 billion bushels. He predicted lower farm and food prices by year end and dismissed cotton export controls, urging removal of voluntary import quotas if textile makers seek cheaper raw cotton.
