Walworth County raid nets 12 arrests on liquor gambling charges

Madison AP reports the largest 1941 BE Division raid since then led to 12 Walworth County arrests. Among those named were Raymond Morrissy and Kenneth Payne, both local officials, plus eight tavernkeepers tied to gambling or horse race betting.
