Stubborn Norwegian Recovers From Fifth Floor Fire Rescue
Roy Fredrickson and Dr. R. B. Horschak were trapped on the fifth floor of the Schneider Building at 115 S 5th Ave after a fire started in a waste basket. Ground ladders and a 50 foot ladder were used as firefighters rescued the two men, who survived the ordeal with injuries and memories of a harrowing escape.
