Still Seeking Two Escapees From County Jail Break
Police continue to hunt for two of four youths who escaped a county jail at 12:15 a m Sunday. John Kolacinski and Robert Blackstone, 11 year olds from Milwaukee, remain at large while Guy Hanson, 20, was captured near the La Crosse river marsh by Sheriff Vern Lamp. Joseph Beethen, 17, of La Crescent, Minn., was arrested in La Crescent at 2 a m Monday. Kolacinski and Blackstone are said to be inseparable and wanted in Milwaukee for car theft. Kolacinski stands six feet two inches, blue eyes, dark brown hair, 165 pounds. Blackstone five feet seven inches, hazel eyes, 135 pounds. Tips should reach Jiff Lamp, county highway patrol, or city police. Authorities note two suspects claimed Austin, Minnesota residents en route to Nelson, Wis, after questioning at Maiden Rock.
