Detroit April 26 Ty Cobb will be allowed to reenter the game with the Detroit Tigers immediately despite a suspension by the national commission for failure to report. Manager Jennings announced Cobb would play tomorrow against Cleveland after today’s rain postponement.
Charles L. Boucher, about 40, of La Crosse Wisconsin, left a suicide note claiming a wife in Waterloo Iowa and a second woman under a different name. Found in a Burlington box car with a bullet wound near the fish hatcheries, the note references three children and a failed divorce.
Parents on French Island say Charles L. Boucher is the son of Mr and Mrs Anton Boucher. Brother George a Schrank's cafe bartender will leave for St Paul to identify the body as Burlington wires describe it to Chief John Wabber. The description leads to strong belief the body is the Bouchers' son.
Fire in Petosky Michigan today destroyed one of the city's largest business blocks. Loss estimated at eighteen thousand dollars.
