An eastbound Milwaukee Road freight derailed near Goodview Minnesota injuring one man. Stanley Nowak about 47 with no permanent address was hospitalized in Winona in good condition. About 15 cars derailed, 40 cars on the through freight, and 500 yards of double main track torn up. Cause not known. Rail line rerouted via Burlington between La Crosse and St Paul until repairs.
