Blair businessman Milton Frederixon dies at 69
Milton Frederixon, owner of Frederixon Funeral Home and Furniture Store in Blair Wisconsin, died Saturday morning after a heart attack. Born April 15, 1893 in Westby, he moved to Garden Valley near Hixton as a youth and worked at Gibson Furniture and Funeral Home from 1917. He married Merle Gibson in 1918, owned the firm from 1956, and his son took over in 1962. Surviving are his widow two daughters a son nine grandchildren and several siblings and step-relatives. Services are at Zion Lutheran Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call Monday afternoon at Frederixon Funeral Chapel.
