In a 4 p.m. Saturday ceremony at First Congregational Church Margaret Jane Fuller and Henry Mead Kaiser wed in La Crosse. Spectators waited in the sun across the street as guests and family gathered for a society wedding.
A three-vehicle crash Friday near Norwalk left three dead and Frances Sturdevant 42 of Cashton in critical condition at Lutheran Hospital La Crosse with brain bruising and other injuries. Her husband Curtis 48 is in fair condition with fractured ribs and possible internal injuries. The collision on State Highway 71 at 10 30 p m also injured Kenneth Hansen 20 of Norwalk. The victims hailed from the United States Canada South America and Hawaii.
At the UN General Assembly opening Kosygin appeared as the United States pledged to work with all member nations for a just Middle East solution. Goldberg stated the U S position that every Security Council proposal now rests before the Assembly while the Soviet Union threatened a veto.
