Repairman Trapped Three Hours in Subzero Water Tower
In Chilton Wisconsin a repairman David Lyons 29 of Burlington Iowa was stuck inside a city water tower tank for three hours on a frigid Friday. The interior temperature was about 16 below zero while wind chills reached around 70 below outside. Lyons emerged numb but unharmed after drinking coffee following the ordeal.

Stranded Youths and Rescue at Burlington Tank Facility
Mike Beck and Lyons, a 21 year old man, were involved in a tank leak rescue at a Burlington National Tank Manufacturing Co plant when frost made the 35 foot tank floor slippery. Lyons used a come along lift and a steel cable to pull himself free after several help efforts by Beck and local workers.
