Roy L. Matson editor of the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison died Saturday from a coronary occlusion after a heart attack in his office. He was with the Journal 31 years rising from reporter to editor in 1942 and held civic posts with Red Cross Rotary Club and more. He served in international press seminars for the State Department and was an officer of the Journal division of Lee Newspapers.
