Final Decision on Fishing Rights near Barbuk Reservation

Ohio Sportsman Bags 9 Foot 7 Inch Brown Bear
E E MacGuffin of Youngstown Ohio returned from Bear Bay on the Alaska peninsula with a 9 foot 7 inch brown bear. He hunted with Pat Cannon, a local guide, on Cannon's boat. MacGuffin praised the hunt and plans a May return for a Kodiak bear. Cannon will lead a color 16 mm photography trip to Afognak Island, aiming to finish a series begun last year, with a weeklong departure planned for Monday.

King Legion Suit Ordered Dismissed

Crowds Inspect the Constitution at Navy Base Base Visit
A steady line formed Sunday as Kodiakians and navy personnel toured the giant plane Constitution at the base. Radio notices urged inspections after an earlier exhibit was canceled. The navy has no figures on attendance during the three hours the aircraft was open. The Constitution departed the base yesterday morning and is expected to return later in its Alaska mission.
