Kraft Builds New Auto Store at Alaska Way and Mill Bay
Ben Kraft announced a new auto sales and service building is under construction at the corner of Alaska Way and Mill Bay road. Excavation began Thursday night with Patrick Lynch overseeing. Ralph Shupp holds the erection contract. The 50 by 80 foot one story structure will have a display showroom and a parts service area with two gasoline pumps. Upon completion the adjacent auto supply site will become a men’s clothing store.

Strike Settled At Fort Greely Roofing Job Resumes
Forty hour week agreed after a walkout by 34 workers at Fort Greely over hours and transportation. Reed Dodson and Martin of Fairbanks held the roofing contract. Larry Reed, Lt. F.
