Presidential Race Decided Tuesday Clash With Night Accident
A Kodiak man, 59, Hans Reeman, was found after 12 hours trapped in a toppled light delivery truck off Mill Bay Road. He suffered a broken back, lacerations, and was semi conscious when rescued by Mr. and Mrs. Maddux and rushed to the hospital. The crash left the Ford pickup on its side after striking a spruce, with Reeman unable to recall details. Local officials noted his San Francisco birth in 1893 and lack of known kin. The second item covers national race events as Eisenhower and Stevenson campaign across several states, with Truman and Taft Hartley Law debates and remarks from New York rallies.
