Four people drowned Thursday night when their car slid from a Cordova dock into 30 feet of icy water. The victims are Mrs Genevieve Means L E Townsend Mrs Phyllis Davis and her young daughter Lynn. The brakes failed as the car neared the steamship Alaska. Fishermen spent two hours grappling to recover car and bodies. The steamer waited to have the car hoisted ashore.
