C. W. Bill Lavine leaves Monday or Tuesday to join his family in Portland Oregon where they will live. He leaves Pacific Northern Airlines after Navy retirement to work as an agent for Jefferson Standard Life Insurance. Lavine will cover Alaska in his territory and will return to the coast periodically. An all expense round trip for Lavine and wife to Hollywood Beach Florida honors his record sales of over 300 000 in six months. He will attend the firms 50th anniversary convention March 19 to 24. Mrs Lavine and two daughters have lived in Portland since December 1957.
