Barge Seahorse Sinks Off Alaska Coast
The barge Seahorse, towed by the Pawtucket, sank east of the Kenai Peninsula after 36 hours of gale conditions while en route to Seward with construction materials for Mach Construction Co. Four men aboard are missing, feared dead, after abrupt seas overturned the vessel during early Sunday hours near Port Dick.

The summer project removed 15 000 yards of rock, dredged to 23 feet mean low water, with rock hauled to form the harbor approach near Yum Yum after U S Army Engineers swept the channel.

Driver Pleads Not Guilty in Reckless Driving Case
