The Denali departed Kodiak on November 29 carrying three horses two bulls and one ear aboard for Kodiak. It follows a route through Ketchikan Juneau Cordova Valdez Seward and Seldovia then via Ouzinkie Port Wakefield Port Vita Port Williams Seward and Yakutat.
