Food Comes By Clipper In Kodiak Produce Trade

The Reefer Clipper, former Sub-chaser 1079, docked at City Dock after arriving from Seattle with two holds of perishable produce. Jack O'Donnell and L A. Patton, partners and eight crew, operate as traders buying in Seattle and selling to local retailers to reduce handling costs. They plan to return to Alaska soon with a dismantled surplus sawmill from Afognak and emphasize veteran crew connections and Seattle home port.

Interior Assistant to Visit Alaska Organization Meet
