Ouzinkie Man Dies Sunday at Griffin Memorial Hospital
Martin Panamuarioff, 42, of Ouzinkie, died Sunday afternoon after a week of illness and four days as a patient at Griffin Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held at Ouzinkie. He is survived by his mother Mary Surgay of Ouzinkie and a brother Tim in Kodiak. The Veterans Sales Tax collection ends June 30 1948 as World War II Veterans act terminates. All tax accruals from April 4 1946 to June 30 must be paid within 30 days of the end of the quarter. Merchants and others who have passed the tax to consumers are urged to discontinue as of midnight June 30.
