Girls tossed from 250-foot cliff into river in Casper case
In Casper Wyoming a teenage girl and her 11 year old sister were stranded by a flat tire then tossed over a 250 foot cliff into the North Platte River. Suspects 27 year old Howald Leroy Kentesty and 29 year old Jerry Lee Junbkins were arrested and charged with first degree assault and forcible murder under a new state law. The younger survivor, found by a fisherman near Fremont Canyon bridge, aided police after the other girl died in the river hours later. The elder girl crawled from the canyon with a broken hip and spent the night nearby before escaping.
