Sullivan County Agent J W McClain announces a tobacco weed control demonstration at Parker and Newton Farm near Blountville at 1 30 p m Wednesday. Gilbert Rhodes UT Extension tobacco specialist will supervise using five chemical weed controls in a 5 by 100 foot bed. Rhodes and McClain will explain merits and supervise application. Bed will be planted and farmers will inspect results next spring.
