Cincinnati Sept 19 Almon Bogardus 63 suspended head of the state liquor enforcement division was served with a murder warrant in the death of Mrs Ernestine Montgomery 34. He posted 7800 bond and maintained she shot herself in his hotel room after coming to sleep. Lieut Behattle said a signed statement accused Bogardus of shooting her jealous over not visiting for days and a newspaper boy saw a drunk appearing Montgomery leaving a nearby hotel.

Auto Wreck at Death Curve Brings Minor Injuries
One person was slightly injured about 4:20 p m yesterday when a Ford coupe overturned on a curve on Bristol highway at Death Curve west slope of Chestnut ridge. Alfred Waugh of Eastman suffered a left arm injury when pinned beneath the car. He was treated then returned home. Mrs Maude Crabtree and daughter Beulah escaped injury though the car belonged to Miss Crabtree. Waugh said a left rear tire blew out causing loss of control. the car swerved and overturned on the highway side near Kingsport while en route to Honaker Va.
