Chattanooga September 5 Earl Boding 31 former employee of the Tennessee Electric Power Company was held on a felonious assault charge connected with an attack on two utility workers J S Anderson and Joseph L Mason in a downtown street last night. The incident is linked to the power strike and details are on page 8 POWER STRIKE.
The Associated Press reports Kentucky marked Labor Day amid 11 holiday deaths from weekend accidents, eight from highway crashes and three from gun violence. Coroner in Elizabethtown to hold inquest into a Greyhound bus collision that killed a Indianapolis family.
