Kingsport’s Legal Aid Clinic will open Tuesday Sept 7 at 116 East Market St in the Community Chest building. A rotating slate of local attorneys will staff from 1 to 5 pm each Tuesday and Thursday with interviews by Community Chest staff at other times to schedule appointments. The clinic will handle civil cases only and eligibility targets unmarried individuals with income up to 150 dollars monthly or married couples up to 200 dollars plus 10 dollars per child up to five.
