Court summons snake handlers in Lee county case

Pioneer Preacher Dr M W Doggett Dies at 87

Dr M W Doggett 87 a pioneer Presbyterian minister of Southwest Virginia and Texas died at his daughter's home at 6 45 am after months of decline. Born April 14 1855 in Arcadia near Kingsport he organized more than 50 churches as superintendent of home missions. Survived by wife two daughters two sons and two sisters funeral plans not yet set.

Russians Arrive in Nome on Way to Washington

Forty seven Russians with diplomatic passports landed at Nome Alaska aboard two flying boats after a secret mission reveal.
