Redpath Chautauqua Opens Here With Hipple Concert
The Redpath Chautauqua opens this afternoon at 3 in the tent near the Circle. Earl Hipple leads the Hipple Concert Company in an opening novelty program. Tonight at 8 features another concert followed by William Rainey Bennett’s lecture Pathways to Power. The week includes two plays Give and Take and Smilin Through with New York actors, plus the Harp Ensemble and soprano Miss Margaret Hibbard. The full seven day schedule unfolds with a novelty concert as the first afternoon feature.

Speeders Chase Lead At Indianapolis 500 Race
