Court Will Hear Tax Revenue Case In Tennessee
Nashville reports say the state supreme court will hear oral arguments tomorrow in an insurance case involving about 700 000 dollars of tax revenues. The taxes were levied against gross maturas of Mutual Life and other insurers, who argued offsets against tax payments on total premium receipts for dividends paid policy holders. The six-year levy produced 700 000 dollars. Davidson chancery ruled in favor of the company. Attorney Gene Hunt said the ruling would allow an immediate pre fund and raise the state's deficit by 700 000 dollars. Queens DA Sullivan said no violence was found on autopsy and a landslide is likely the cause. Police and neighbors ended a two day search as neighbors recall the cave. Clinton Tennessee May 20 A crowd burned an ancient Jenny plane at Clinton airport after pilot Bowser Frakes failed to crash it as planned. Frakes attempted a 2000 foot descent, then a three point landing, but the wing snapped and tires blew. Despite guards, several hundred spectators flipped the craft and set it ablaze before Frakes left the scene. An ambulance arrived, but Frakes fled in a car.
