A hot air balloon floated above Afton Street in Fort Robinson early Wednesday. The hour and a half flight drifted from Dobyns-Bennett to a farm field in the Ross Campground area west of the Holston River, attracting many onlookers.
The Tennessee House passed a measure allowing non profit clubs to sell liquor by the drink with no referenda. The 51 to 34 vote included Blackburn and Robison for, Bewley Chiles Denton Goal Hurley against. The bill, already Senate approved, returns for two year licensing rule review.
