Murder Charged In Cleek Shooting At Private Property
Oscar Carroll a 48 year old man was arrested early Tuesday and charged with murder in the death of Gilmer Cleek 40. The shooting occurred Monday night at a private property abandoned building near Highway No 81 after a dog related dispute. Carroll was found hiding near the sluice and was intoxicated and soaked from wading the sluice. He is expected to be arraigned in General Sessions Court this afternoon.
