Kingsport Students to Attend State NEA Convention
Two Kingsport students from East Tennessee State College Roy Neeley and Brenda Tunner will join about 600 delegates from Tennessee colleges at a Student NEA convention to be held at Tennessee Tech. Broadcasts Increase Russia Radio Reach In 1962
Washington UPI reports the USTA said Soviet overseas radio broadcasts rose in 1962. Africa broadcasts climbed from 7 to 44 hours weekly, the Far East from 117 to 180 hours, and Latin America from 4 to about 44 hours, reflecting a major expansion in global dissemination.
