Nelson B. Alexander former master of the schooner Marietta G. was arrested in Pensacola Florida on embezzlement charges connected with abandoning the ship and selling its cargo at St Andrews in 1919 He had been indicted in June 1920 but not arrested before Federal records show the voyage from Mobile to the Star Fish and Oyster Company then to Snapper Banks near Yucatan and back where cargo was sold for 800 to prevent spoilage. The schooner was later returned to its owners.

Three Die As Cyclone Ravages Marshall County Tenn
Three persons are reported dead with several seriously injured and extensive property destruction from a cyclone that struck around four to five pm ten miles west of Lewisburg Tennessee. The storm swept northeast across Marshall County, blowing cars off tracks at South Berlin on the Louisville and Nashville line. Sidewalks Under Construction Across Kingsport In Spring
