Woodrow PTA hosts Dr Kilday on school sanitation
Dr. G W Kilday sanitation director of Sullivan County Health Department spoke at Woodrow PTA stressing child hygiene in home and school. He urged improving lighting heating ventilation and water in schools. Mrs Henry Chase led as president with devotionals by Esther Vorbeit and a treasury balance of 126 97 reported. A nominating committee was named for officer elections next year. The next meeting is April 8 to plan show closing exercises.

Forty-Nine Tables of Bridge In Play At Club Series
Forty nine bridge tables were in play at the second lesson of a club series at the Civic Auditorium led by Miss Regina Eiseman a Culbertson instructor from Johnson City. High score went to Mrs. Eugene Armitage, bingo prize to Mrs. Richard Bevington and door prize to Mrs. R. J. Hoskins. The third lesson is set for Friday at 1 30 P M with proceeds aiding underprivileged children.
