Sheriff Unravels Murder Mystery in Brooksville Omaha Style
Sheriff Neil F. Law of Hernando county announced the solution to the robbery and killing of Jas per K. Milliken, an assistant with the Tennessee state division of markets, near Nashville. William Farmer, 21, claimed escaped convict status from Brushy Mountain penitentiary and confessed after being arrested with an unidentified youth while attempting to steal a car. Howard Dunn, 23, of Knoxville, Tenn, is jailed in Lake City, Fla, for involvement in the slaying, with Dunn saying a partner fired the fatal shots. Farmer stated he shot Milliken in the neck and handed the gun to Dunn to finish him. Milliken died from bullets at the base of the skull and near the heart. his automobile, money, and jewelry were taken. Farmer faces automobile theft charges to be sent to Tennessee authorities.
