New York March 18 AP A Hollywood actor linked to police uniforms was arrested by Brooklyn DA William T. O Dwyer as investigation widens into a dollar a death murder for hire syndicate tied to a dozen or more gangland killings. Authorities say 10 or more men were arrested and questioned as the alleged reader and others were sought. The gang reportedly operated across Brooklyn and Sullivan County New York with ties to the Purple Gang.
