Shreveport Louisiana March 1 Substantial gains in membership in both the senior and junior societies were shown in reports before the seventeenth annual conference of the women's missionary council of the Methodist Episcopal Church South. Mrs Lipscomb noted 6 439 adult missionary societies with 190 607 members, a rise of 128 societies and 5 140 members over last year. Florida Louisiana Kentucky Arizona and North Georgia led gains.
