Galleon Ends 5 Month Voyage To San Francisco
The Golden Hinde, a 1.5 million replica of Sir Francis Drake’s galleon, sailed into San Francisco Bay ending a 13,000 mile voyage from Plymouth England. Capt. Adrian V. Small said the voyage faced storms but reached safe harbor with cheers from thousands along the water front.
