Fly Is Feeling Better After Abduction Ordeal
MONTEVIDEO United Press International reports American Claude L. Fly, 65, an agricultural adviser to Uruguay, shows improvement in intensive care after a seven month captivity by Tupamaro guerrillas. Doctors caution two more weeks of quiet rest are needed to recover a heart ailment following a heart attack he suffered during captivity. Fly was released Tuesday and left by abductors on a stretcher outside the British Hospital in Montevideo.

Despondent Dad Forces Son to Kill Him in Colorado Springs
A despondent father compelled his eight-year-old son to shoot him after the boy refused to stab him.
