177 Year Old Woman Injured in Auto Mishap
Mrs Matte Ball aged 77 was injured in a two car collision on Lynn Garden Drive near p.m. Wednesday. She suffered head injuries scratches and bruises and was admitted to Holston Valley Community Hospital in fair condition. James Langrel 52 and Charles Ball 80 received minor injuries. The crash occurred at the Lynn Garden Drive Carter's Valley Road intersection as Ball turned left onto Lynn Garden Drive from East Carter's Valley Road. Ball's vehicle was a total loss and the other car sustained about 809 dollars in damage. No charges were filed.

She was last seen February 23 around 10 a.m near her home wearing a beige skirt blue turtleneck and a short rose colored coat. Mrs Hughes said the girl told her mother in law she planned to visit a newsstand for soft drinks for lunch and is in need of immediate medical care. First Aid Classes Slated At Coeburn High School
The Coeburn Unit of the Wise County Rescue Squad will begin first aid classes at Coeburn High School on Monday. Reverend W G Iday Thomtes, pastor of West Asher Clinton Hawkins, unit commander, said classes will be held in the high school auditorium each Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock.
