Stone Mountain Memorial Coin Certificates Distributed
The First National Bank announced slow progress in distributing Stone Mountain Memorial Coin Certificates. Coins have been issued to this bank and will be distributed to other banks in a few days, with Kingsport’s $2,000 quota expected to be reached. Reservations for the half dollar are made by buying certificates for one dollar each, which entitles the holder to one half dollar coin, and the extra fifty cents supports completion efforts.
