A large posse led by bloodhounds hunted Ray Olson, 35, who killed two volunteer deputies. Officers reported Olson and deputies exchanged fire in the Moose Lake area after he robbed a store. The search continued as authorities tracked the wanted man who left a death note before his latest flight.
The bodies of Roy C Prator and John Paul Warrick both of Kingsport were recovered after their motorboat capsized during a storm on Lake Lure North Carolina. Divers found Prator late last night and Warrick about two hours later as a fishing party members were unable to swim. Warrick was longtime Kingsport resident and Brashears sales chief. Prator had lived in Kingsport three years and worked as Brashear’s salesman.
