Cape and Cape Ensemble Featured in London Knit Trends
(From Mme Lisbeth) A striking black and white cape suit with accordion pleated skirt in black crepe and white bands appears practical for travel. A flannel cape with plaid center and black border accompanies, while mauve shades in London collections show braided bindings and collared wool capes. Jumper frocks with straight lines and long sleeves mirror the pleated skirt. London houses push cape effects for sports attire and new knitting treatments promise autumn novelties with smaller patterns and subdued colorings.
