Flint Michigan June 12 Prosecuting Attorney Transue announced Balfe Macdonald 17 confessed to killing his mother Grace B Macdonald last May 27 by beating her with heavy book ends. He said the youth returned from Nashville after arrest and stayed 20 minutes in the house to grab money before fleeing. The mother, widow and former bank cashier, was found dead May 27 in her bedroom.
