Bicycle Ride Ends in Death for Local Youth
A pleasure bicycle trip to Chickamauga Park turned deadly for eleven year old Neil Smythe of Chattanooga when a truck struck him on the highway this morning. Driver John Seaborn of Chattanooga was arrested at the hospital and held on manslaughter charges. Neil was the county's twentieth auto fatality of the year.
